Spencer wore his hat--complete with new pompoms--to pickup Irene at school, and by the time we got home he'd yanked and tugged at this poor pompom. Unsightly.
Oh, and he ruined the other one, too.

All that's left are two sad little loops that are supposed to be holding all those tiny strands of yarn in the pom. Sad. The new poms lasted maybe four or five hours, tops.
The good news is that my first issue of Interweave Knits arrived yesterday and I'm about ready to dive in and take a peek! I got a subscription for Christmas from my Mom and Dad, and I've been waiting (not patiently) for it to get here.
I know this isn't much of a post, but I thought you guys would appreciate the poor pompom situation. I need a hug.

Argh! I feel your pain! Toddlers are so frustrating that way-they just don't get the concept of gentle.....at least Keegs is loving his bells.
And we've always got WEBS baby! ;-)
Sorry about the pom poms. My oldest girl who is 5 pulled out yarn from her pom poms too and I kinda went off maybe a little too much but she got it and then left them alone (I said sorry it was one of those days)
How about bells on his hat too?
I on the other hand have totally lost all patience for my magazine.(WHERE IS IT?!?!?!) Oh sorry about that =) I have already apologized to Hubby if it doesn't come tomorrow.
Ouch with the pom-poms. They always go for the thing you hate to replace the most, don't they?
xoxo Hugs Jill!!!!!! xoxo
he's a pom pom KILLER
Sorry about the pompom abuse! Maybe you should put bells on his hat too? Anyway...comment from past post, regarding the armpit annoyance (I've been a little behind lately, sorry!), they will definitely even out once you close the hole up...I have done both a 3 needle bind off and grafting the armpit stitches to finish up the armpits, and they both work great! Can't wait to see the finished project!
